The Wall Street Journal features Montana horse ranch for sale

Skalkaho Creek Ranch, listed by Hall and Hall, is featured in a story by The Wall Street Journal, “Homes on More Than 100 Acres.” The 1,100-acre ranch features an 8,600-square-foot log home that was built in 1995. A 2,200-square-foot horse barn also occupies this parcel of Montana ranch real estate.

The main house has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a sauna and a workout room. The Montana ranch compound also includes a two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest house with kitchen and a managers house that was built in 1910.

Skalkaho Creek Ranch has an abundant trout stream, making it a prime Montana ranch for sale, as well as elk, white tail deer and bears. The property borders public land, which acts as a natural land expansion.

This Montana horse ranch is located 10 miles from Hamilton, a town that “has stores like the Bitterroot Grocery Emporium, which sells panini as well as gourmet and organic groceries and wine,” according to The Wall Street Journal.

Bill McDavid of Hall and Hall has the listing on the $8.9 million Skalkaho Creek Ranch. Hall and Hall is a ranch real estate company that emphasizes land stewardship.
