Hall and Hall listing—Oak Ridge Ranch in Carmel Valley—sells

A Carmel Valley ranch in California called Oak Ridge Ranch, which was listed by Hall and Hall, recently sold for $14.7 million, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

The seller was Jim Kirk, founder of rental-equipment company NationsRent, who purchased the property in the early 1980’s for about $10 million. The buyer was Sue Ann Hamm, the wife of Harold Hamm, the chief executive officer of Oklahoma-based oil and natural gas company Continental Resources.

The roughly 6,400-acre cattle ranch is one of the few large ranches in the area and is home to wildlife including deer, turkey and quail. It has a four-bedroom main house, guest house and caretaker’s house.

Bill McDavid and David Johnson of Hall and Hall handled the transaction.
