Hall and Hall auction for Yellowstone Club makes headlines

The Wall Street Journal features the upcoming Yellowstone Club auction in its “Private Properties” section. Hall and Hall is handling the auction, with minimum bids starting at $11.1 million. Bids will be accepted through May 16, and the auction will be held May 20, Juliet Chung reports.

The Yellowstone Club, which is often called “ultra-exclusive,” is a 160-acre property in Big Sky, Montana, founded by Tim and Edra Blixseth. Members include Bill Gates and Greg LeMond. The property includes two three-bedroom guest homes that were constructed in 2007. A main home was not built.

Bill McDavid of Hall and Hall is representing the property, according to Chung.
