Florida’s TCPalm.com features Pine Creek Sporting Club

Pine Creek Sporting Club in Okeechobee, Florida, is featured on TCPalm.com. Jennifer Schroeder writes that Pine Creek takes advantage of Florida ranch land as a hunting and shooting community, offering an alternative to coastal life. And while owning a ranch can take a lot of time and money, Stephen Myers, Jr., one of Pine Creek’s founders, told Schroeder, “We wanted to offer the ranch lifestyle without the expenses. That’s the Pine Creek concept.”

Pine Creek covers an area of 2,400 acres and allows for 70 homes. Owners can also choose to own one of 23 cabins that surround a 5-acre lake. The 40-acre ranch sites allow owners to hunt for whitetail deer and turkey on their own property.

Florida quail hunting is one of the big draws for Pine Creek, which offers guided hunting for quail and wild hog. The community occupies a former quail ranch that was owned by the Rollins family for 50 years. Construction on Pine Creek began two years ago, and according to Myers, the land has not changed much.

Pine Creek Sporting Club is a private Florida hunting and shooting community. Pine Creek features premier Florida wingshooting, including quail, pheasant and turkey hunting, as well as whitetail deer and hog hunting. Pine Creek also features a Florida shooting range, including five stand, sporting clays and trap and tower shoots, and Florida equestrian facilities. In addition, Pine Creek offers its members use of its private helicopter. For more information, visit http://pinecreeksportingclub.com/.
