Choteau Mountain Ranch showcased as equestrian real estate

In its May/June 2011 issue, Robb Report Exceptional Properties features a story about equestrian communities and includes a Hall and Hall listing as a “Private Equestrian Estate.” To read the story in the electronic edition of the magazine, follow this link.

The equestrian estate is called Choteau Mountain Ranch, a 10,000-acre Montana ranch on the Rocky Mountain Front, and it’s listed by Hall and Hall at $10.995 million.

According to Robb Report Exceptional Properties, this Montana ranch for sale features an indoor riding arena, which was constructed in 2001 and includes electricity, running water, and phone service. Outside, the arena features an attached stable as well as two water hydrants and a livestock water fountain, all of which are “freeze-proof.” The 1,800-square-foot riding space can be used at any time of the day thanks to skylights and commercial lights.

For those in the market for equestrian real estate, the location of Choteau Mountain Ranch should be considered in regards to backcountry horse riding. The property is situated next to the Lewis and Clark National Forest, which leads into the Bob Marshall Wilderness, a pristine mountain ecosystem consisting of one million acres. The only way to access designated wilderness is by foot or by horse.
