TravelAgeWest.com features China photography tour by WildChina

WildChina’s travel photography tour with British photographer Sean Gallagher is featured on TravelAgeWest.com. The trip has a departure date of Oct. 1 and will last eight days.

During this China photography tour of the Silk Road, Gallagher will hold workshops with travelers to improve their understanding and skills in areas such as landscape, portrait, and time-lapse photography. In addition, travelers will have one-on-one time with Gallagher to discuss their photography.

Characteristic of WildChina tours, travelers will have the opportunity to learn about and experience various cultures in China. Writer Beatrice Baisa says the trip itinerary includes visits to mosques near the Pakistani border and camping in the desert. Natural features of the region include Karakul Lake, the Taklamakan Desert, and the Flaming Mountains, and up-close encounters with camels are inevitable. Travelers will also explore the Karez Water System with its underground wells.

Baisa spoke with WildChina:

“This is truly a bucket-list trip for those interested in photography,” said WildChina founder Mei Zhang. “Travelers will have an opportunity to take a part of the Silk Road home with them as they explore the geography and cultural heritage of this region through the lens.”
