Hall and Hall and Escape Ranch featured in Nashville Business Journal

Orrin Ingram, president and CEO of Nashville-based Ingram Industries is selling his 14,000 acre hunting ranch, Escape Ranch,  in Kenansville, FL for $35 million.

“I’ve hunted it and it’s amazing,” said Bill McDavid, a ranch partner with Hall and Hall, the Montana-based real estate firm listing the property. “It’s Florida at its best, really.”

The Florida hunting property includes a new six-bedroom lodge, a two-bedroom guesthouse and staff quarters. The real draw, however, is the hunting, including for deer, turkey and quail.

McDavid notes that the property’s quail population is wild, which makes for more exciting sport for hunters. Some 1,350 cows also roam a portion of the property, which includes two man-made ponds in addition to natural marshes and wetlands. The land is crisscrossed by 93 miles of dirt and grass roads.
