Boston Globe features Planetary Design’s mobile French press mug

Planetary Design’s travel French press mug, called the Double Shot, is featured in the Boston Globe. Travel writer Kari Bodnarchuk calls the Double Shot “a stylish way to refuel on the go.”

With a hidden compartment on the bottom that can hold extra coffee grounds or tea leaves, this stainless steel travel mug is functional for both the office or the backcountry. The double-walled, restaurant-grade stainless steel keeps drinks hot for more than two hours. The plunger system features a very fine mesh screen to prevent coffee grounds from leaking into the drinkable liquid.

The Double Shot is available for $29.99. To order, call 888-327-9908 or visit http://www.planetarydesign.com.

Planetary Design, located in Missoula, Montana, created the original French press and mug in one, designing it with a unique plunger system. That first model was called the Big Sky Bistro. Since then, Planetary Design has developed a line of nearly indestructible, stainless steel French Press mugs, Table Top French Presses, drinkware, and the AirScape, a vacuum-seal storage canister ideal for storing coffee or almost any other food.
